As a student, I think about this a lot because my generation will live with AI everywhere, from workplaces to social media to healthcare. The choices we make now about guardrails will shape whether AI becomes something we can trust or something we constantly fear.
In the end, I believe the best approach is balance. AI should be open enough to inspire creativity and learning, but guided enough to protect people from harm. Just like any powerful tool, it is not about whether it is good or bad. It is about how we use it, and the boundaries we set to make sure it stays on the right path.
